Your patient presents prescription for a compounded medication from their prescriber.

Requesting Pharmacy

Pharmacy to review & process the prescription accordingly and contact Silver Specialty Rx for a quote for the compound.
Silver Specialty Pharmacy Rx to provide quote to the requesting pharmacy along with any pertinent billing information.
Upon receiving consent from the patient, the requesting pharmacy will sign a central-fill agreement to authorize Silver Specialty Rx to fulfill the prescription. Alternatively, the requesting pharmacy can refer the patient directly to Silver Specialty Rx.
The requesting pharmacy will then fax or email the compound prescription to Silver Specialty Rx.
The requesting pharmacy to submit the compound prescription to the patient's drug plan, if applicable.
Silver Specialty Pharmacy Rx to provide quote to the requesting pharmacy along with any pertinent billing information.
Registered staff check the final product for technical accuracy and pharmaceutical elegance.
Prescription is packaged and shipped to requesting pharmacy.
The requesting pharmacy to notify the patient that the prescription is ready to be picked up or delivered. The pharmacist to provide appropriate patient counselling and support.
Patient to pick up/receive their prescription and will re-order as necessary through the requesting pharmacy.
